Camera Settings to Get Started

DSLR or Mirrorless Camera

• f/2.8
• 10-second Exposure
• ISO 3200
• Shoot in the prime setting on the camera, 1x or 2x depending on the camera
• Any zoom beyond 1x, such as 1.2x means the .2 part is “digitally enhanced”

Phone Camera: iPhone 14 and up

• Use Night Mode
• Push slider to Max Exposure
• 30-second shutter on tripod

Phone Camera: Android

• Use Pro Mode, 30-second shutter, f/1.8, ISO 50
• Based on a Samsung S21 Ultra
