Achievements:
Christina Cantu Sharp is dedicated to reading, studying and learning about the Aurora from the perspective of an amateur space weather enthusiast. She has familiarized herself with many various formations and classifications of the Aurora.
In 2024, she made a valuable contribution to citizen science when she discovered a F.A.E., or Fragment-like Aurora Emission, over the skies of Michigan during the October 10-11, 2024 display. This is the first time in recorded history that a F.A.E. has been spotted outside of the Arctic regions.

Show your support! Our Admin Team gives generously of their time, resources and knowledge to help everyone catch the Northern Lights. Even a simple gesture to “buy us a coffee” goes a long way, using our tip jar websites. Most of this goes back into the group.
